Even house finches must have marital problems. He is apologizing for coming home late, while she is nursing her wounded soul. But I'm excited to report that all is well and he was welcomed back home.

Moustached Puffbird
I visited a friend's farm this weekend. It's at 1200m and so a lot lower than mine. As a result he has a different set of birds. I always enjoy visiting because I can usually get a shot of something I can't get at home.

I really like the water in the first one. Would like to know what the heck that gull was saying.

Lovely images all.
Sury I particularly like the shot of the Coot. I find trying to get detail in a bird that has black plumage a real struggle but you have caught the bird beautifully.

Thank you Pitter and Ossie. Pitter, since I had a 70-400 that gull was upset with my
voyeuristic behavior.
Ossie, I knew it was not a bird I came across before, but now I know it is called Coot,
thanks to you.
