Bird portraits at 24mm - good work Pitter! :)

Good idea about the impromptu diffuser, Sury.

My favorites are the Limpkin and Snowy Egret. Great catches.

Very nice bird pictures, JB. I particularly like the third in the first set, poised for action, and the first of the second set with all of the birds sat on different branches :)

Nice set JB. I see blown highlights on the birds in the bus stop. I am wondering
if it is my monitor acting up or indeed such is the case.

I think you are correct Sury. I wil go back and check my settings. I typically don't prefer using recovery in lightroom but any suggestions for exposure that you might have would be welcome.
Bonus shot.

Here are a couple of birds I photographed on my morning walk with a Canon 7D and 400 5.6.

First is a Slate-throated Redstart.

The second is called Green-and-Black Fruiteater. I was really too close and both birds are over flashed but I couldn't try to move away as they would have been gone.
