Jeff,
I am like a statistician. Will keep my head in an over, my feet in a refrigerator, calculate the
average and say I am perfectly comfortable.

The peacock is certainly the fancy one of that pair. Looking pretty fancy yourself, Sury Nothing better after a hard day behind the lens.

Beautiful white heron pictures, Sury As Ossie say, the reflection shots are particularly good.
Well caught bird there, Ossie. Looks like some sort of humming bird?

Few more from recent trip to India. I was quite a distance away and was using 70-400G and hence heavy cropping.

Lots of nice detail in the last one, Sury, and I really like the warm colours and ripples in the water in the second.

Re: Birds 2015
Nice shot Pitter. Was a flash used? If so, light seems a bit harsh
and if it is not, perhaps over sharpening?

Re: Birds 2015
Yes Sury flash was used and indeed subject was over flashed as a result of the camera being too close. Some day I will get a more adjustable unit for the camera.

Re: Birds 2015
Ah, that explains it. I would rather a picture than none at all.
One of my favorite tricks is to have facial tissue handy to drape over flash.
