MS ICE Version 2.x is Brilliant

I downloaded the MS Image Composing Editor version 2.x and blown away by the speed
of the software, especially saving jpegs. More amazing is the autocompletion feature.
Panning 20 shots with 70-400 is not that easy when taking hand held shots. I am still
developing them but wanted to share the autocompletion feature of the SW.
First one is as stitched.
Second one is autocropped
Third one is autocompleted (new feature)

Looks like it handled the stitching very well. The autocompletion feature might be nice for some situations. I think in this case it was trying to guess at too much area. It may not have been as obvious had I not seen the original. I wonder if the walking path had been longer in the original if the program would've cloned it on down. Also, a cloudless sky or low contrast overcast gray sky would probably work well with this. Just the same, it's very interesting. Thanks for sharing.
And it's a beautiful shot Sury.

A marvellous scene, Sury, and I love the final result.

Jeff,
You are absolutely right about the path. It is actually a winding road. What impressed me was (not with standing the road), the shrubbery it added in front was pretty accurate. What bothered me is that the dark cloud addition on upper right is not very natural. The skies being stronger could be my LR PP as well. It certainly rescued few other Panos of mine.

Thanks for posting. I have been seeing various good comments about the new ICE 2 in other places. I don't shoot many panos, almost never seem to think about it until later when it is too late, but I have done a few over the years. For the last few years I have just been using the pano maker built into PSE 9. It seems pretty good and easy, but I think I will try this ICE 2 later. The next time I am in the States I would like to do some panos out west. I should also give ICE a try to redo a few of my old panos. I have one in particular where I would like to see how the auto-fill in ICE 2 works.
