a580 IR conversion just arrived

As some of you already know from a different thread, I sent off my a580 for an IR conversion. Actually it's a full spectrum conversion with a heat reduction modification that should help with longer exposures. I am completely new to IR photography. I'm using a Hoya R72 filter right now. I also installed Elements+ which is a 3rd party expansion for PS Elements that will allow color channel swapping. Now I just need to start figuring out what I'm doing both in subject/composition and in post processing. Here's a couple for starters. I'm looking forward to learning something new.

Great start Jeff. Looks like by the fourth one you have already become an expert.
The drama that sky created in the first one is fantastic. I have thought of acquiring
a 720nM filter for a while but never gotten around to, and hopefully your images will
be an inspiration.
