Last weekend the wife and I went down to South Dakota. This was the third trip to try to get so photos of a bald eagle nest close to the wife's cousins farm. This trip was great. We not only found the eagles home but also a bison heard and some Texas longhorn cattle. I have a ton of photos on derelict prairie farm sites to process so I'll post them as I get them done. I have these for now.

In the first one, the foreground seems to be in focus and the bison (?) is a tad soft (at least on my monitor).
Otherwise I like the photo with background blurred. Second one is nice. As for eagles, I am glad you got some.
Not too bad given what the conditions were, not too bad.

I tend to agree with bison. But I'm kind of lost as to how to correct it if I can at all. Please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Next bison.

With all that grass and bulk of the bison (sea of brown), my eyes went straight to that menacing eye.
That makes this what I call a "money shot". Sometimes a simple element, albeit a key one in focus makes
a difference. I learned something from your image at the least.

That head shot I'm thinking very hard about printing out and hanging it up. Oh boy will the wife be happy!

I was going to say it looks like an old thrashing machine, and then noticed the image name was thrasher.

Anyways, some nice shots. I really like the buffalo shots.

You're correct but I guess I kind of gave that away.

Love the second one. Reminds me of kids slurping their spaghetti.

This is a 41 Plymouth pickup we found.

Superb colors on the last two, Ken. Rust never looked more eye pleasing.

Agree with Sury on the pickup. Really nicely done shot, crisp and great colors. I think I might have not cropped it in so tight, given it a tad more space. I forgot Plymouth made pickups.
