Shipyard

Unread post by david antony »

Went to Tom’s shipyard to plane some railing I had.
Took a few casual photo’s.

Tom quick to give a hand to employee on band saw.
Said to be the largest band saw on lower mainland.
Tom has been retired 20 years. Son Tommy now
runs it

Lovely set, David Antony. : )

Never saw such a clean shipyard. Everything looks well taken care of and brightly-coloured. Painting patiently and keeping the parts working appear to get these boats right back into their adventurous lives.

Thanks for sharing.
