A lesser traveled portion of Acadia National Park is captured with the a99 and the ZA 24mm f 2.0.

The fog adds to the images. Nice perspectives.
I am curious how the landscape looks on a bright and clear day.

That last one reminds me a bit of a photo I took in 1986 at Point Lobos State Natural Reserve in California on a foggy morning. I don't do much landscape photography because it just isn't a primary interest for me. But, of course, I do take some when I am in beautiful places.

My kind of landscapes; beautiful rock formations meeting the ocean waves, the mist blending into the woods. There's even a sense of melancholy to the scenery, accented with the isolated environment. Just so neat.

Thank you JB for the link. Did you find 24 mm to be wide enough or wished you had a wider lens?

24mm was fine. Some of those shots are with the RX1 which is 35mm. The landscape is so big and your ability to get close minimizes the need for a wider focal length. Your mileage may vary.
Given that you would have to fly to get there, taking only the right gear is a must. The ZA 24-70mm is probably ideal for that place but given the chance to get close to wildlife, a 70-200mm would also be required. Anything longer or shorter would be a luxury. I did meet a photojournalist that was sporting an a7 something and the new G Master 24-70mm. He was loving it but it was too short for the whale watching cruise that we were sharing.
