What do you think about when crossing a bridge?

Bridges are always interesting. : )
I like the first shot for showing the technological/structural design to a certain extent in a close up and the second one for showing off the aesthetics of the structure lending its own rather brutal beauty to the surrounding environment. As for the third, it's good to know that "you are not alone" in such a remote place driving for long distances. Good observant eye there!

Thanks for commenting Yildiz. I took a 9 day car trip to Maine. Plenty of time to take it all in.

To answer your (rhetorical - I assume) question, I always marvel at how the bridge holds up to all the traffic and
elements.
The third one is a very poignant one. I see it on Golden Gate Bridge as well, which used to be a chosen spot for
committing suicide.
