A luminous tree in California in 2004. For the last few days I have been working on old California photos in Lightroom, from 1984 to 2010 (last time I was there), to make a new California gallery on my website.



Let's make this a Tree Photo thread! Please, anyone can post tree photos here. They don't have to be in California.

Thanks, Sury and Yildiz! I recall I was driving along a California highway one morning and saw this tree. I immediately pulled over and parked so I could take a photo. It was so brilliant and luminous I couldn't just drive by.

Here's another one of mine in California. This is at Point Lobos near Carmel in about 1986 or 1987.

This one is on a vineyard of Pear Valley Winery, Paso Robles, California (Central California).

All I meant is that surely almost everyone has taken photos of trees. So, surely we can easily get some participation since I bet pretty much everyone has tree photos!

I like that one too! The tree at the top with the road leading up hill to it is very nice.

Sure! That is cool! I went to a grove where there were lots of Monarch butterflies years ago. It was somewhere around Santa Cruz, I think. Amazing!

Here is another luminous tree, but this time in Zion National Park, Utah.
