The Ramshead Tavern is a small venue in Annapolis, Maryland. It attracts some pretty big names that once performed for much larger audiences. It's only us hardcore music heads that continue to support the efforts of these musicians. Last night I attended the Adrian Belew performance. He has quite a history and is quite the artist.
Very nice, JBTaylor.
ZA 135mm f1.8 is the lens for artistic concert/music photography as well as nature and any shot requiring a little mysterious out-of-focus areas.
Thanks for commenting Yidiz and Sury.
Sury, it is a portrait lens after all. Most times, concert photography is about shots from the waist up. Of course, distance from the stage matters. My decision to take this lens was a simple one. The 70-200 is a white beast and draws attention. I wanted stealth, reach and speed.
