Shoshone Falls, Idaho

I was recently in Boise, Idaho for a weekend and visited Shoshone Falls. The Falls height is supposed to be more than that of Niagara Falls.

View from the North Side.

From the other side of the Falls. The parking lot where we parked can be seen in the first image. I used bracketing and did not realize the bracket was set to 9 images (did not know it can be done) and it is a 10 picture panorama (below). So I had to do 10 HDR merges of 9 each, and then a pano stitch of those 10 images. The camera was A99m2 and the lens was CZ24-70. The details when I zoom in are amazing.

Thank you Ossie. The Pano had to be down sized due to Flickr's failure to upload a large file (size + pixels).

Hi, Sury.

Such a massive body of water and falls; very impressive. I viewed the images on Flickr and zoomed and they became even more amazing. Good work on the pano.

Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz

Yildiz,
Thank you.
The second Pano is a 18 HDR images pano, with each of the HDR images is bracketed for 9 exposure values (18*9 - 162 images).

Thank you Barry. All of them hand held to boot. :) I have had more than moderate success with
hand held panos.
