The cruise ended in Rome on 8th day. Some captures from the visit to Vatican and St. Peters Basilica.

Been away for a while. Had to get a new laptop and recreate my online life.
Looking at these makes me feel anxious about traveling and making sure I have the right gear.
That 3rd one is extra special. Thanks for taking us along.

Thank you for coming along. On that trip I had two lenses. A99m2 with CZ2470f2.8 and Sony 70-400G gen I. I never felt inadequate. I did pano where 24 was not wide enough. I bracketed where there is low light. All Jpegs.

The latest series of interior and external shots are really beautiful, Sury.
That era is just amazing for its sculptures and architecture and we can see them in their full glory, colours, the fine details s of the marble elements are beautiful. There's something about this kind of ancient architecture and design for honouring the human spirit and body. You can feel the spirituality of the depicted scenes in the sculptures.
