Happy to learn that ' if not waxed' translated to our everyday use as 'sincere'.

I like the first and second panos a lot and the third is indeed an interesting construction machinery. :)

Indeed. I helped my son when he was in 7th grade to build a Trebuchet for his school project.
That is actually a weapon.
