Hi folks! I had been using flickr for images*, but decided the a200 should start fresh.

Hi Jim

welcome back. are those home made telescopes on your photo sites? Also the blue machine, is that a grinder of some sort?

'scope stuff

The telescopes are home-made, though the largest one was shipped in pieces from Lightbox Telescopes in Hawaii so I didn't design it. That was exactly what I had planned to design, so I let someone else do the thinking & measuring :wink:

The blue box is a 'mirr-o-matic', I purchased it from someone else but got married instead for a new hobby! It's going to leave me in the near future, and if time ever presents itself I'll just make a mirror or two the old-fashioned way. I completed a 6" and 8" without machines, and a thick 14.5 that needed reworking later.. so I enjoy the work but am not really proficient.
