Hi all, just found my way here from another Sony DSLR forum and am hoping to pick up some hints and tips about digital photography as I'm new to the DSLR world.

Welcome. I surely hop you are not thin-skinned, as some posters are a bit abrasive. Almost all, however, have some good advise to give.
