I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email from David accepting my request for registration. Photography is mostly for hobby for me, and I am way down in the learning curve at the moment. It helps me get outdoors and gives me a rewarding distraction from thinking about work/life/future etc 
Forums have become reasonably good sources of information with many knowledgable folk sharing their good and not so good experiences with the gear, technology, aesthetics amongst other things. I am not sure if I am in much of a position to contribute to any of these discussions (there is always the funnies
