Hello one and all,
I am based near Harrogate in Yorkshire, and have been in teaching most of my adult life, with Photography and Multimedia being my two main areas of interest.
I also work as a freelance photographer, and cover the usual suspects - editorial, stock, weddings, portraits, events...
Was a Minolta film 35 user before buying my first Sony A100. So far it is working out well for us both!
I am interested in 'going mainly digital' and would appreciate any advice and information on those who have used their Sony cameras in the professional arena.
If all goes well I would like to add an A700 to the case before the year is out!
best wishes
Peter

For professionla use the benefits of the A700 are substantial. Even so, I notice that my Alamy sale yesterday was an 800 ISO shot taken on the A100, it is not as limited for high ISO as some would have you think. But the A700 enters a different league at 1600, 3200 and 6400.
