An Old Minolta Guy From Pennsylvania

Unread post by SLUFDRIVER »

Hello all! I guess I should start at the begining. My first Minolta was an SRT-101 I bought during the war in SE Asia. Later came a whole parade of them; XK-AE, XK-AES, XE-7, XK-Motor, XD-SE and a list of MC/MD lenses as long as my arm, 16mm up to the RF800. For various reasons I sort of lost interest about 7 years ago, and sold off the entire lot; darkroom and all. I was quite content using the digital point and pray units from Sony. Then, a lucky raffle ticket made me the proud owner of an A100. A friend mentioned that if I liked the A100, then I would most certainly love the A700. And I did. I am most happy to have found this group; so filled with information, and knowledgable members. No matter what anyone tells you, a little support can go a very long way indeed.
Thanks, and best to all!

Nice way to return to Minolta/Sony - I never win raffles! And I'm still waiting for that million on the lottery.
