Hi all, name is Phil and i live in Wallasey on Merseyside, UK (just south of Liverpool )

Entered the world of Sony dslr`s all of 3 days ago after picking up a boxed A200 kit, even better as it was under £150!! Normally a Fuji user but dont hold that against me please

Very keen on the local maritime movements as i live very close to the River Mersey, I am a forum admin on shipais.com (realtime uk ship tracking), had some pics published last year, 1 on the front page of local paper after a near miss on the mersey ferries and some in various shipping magazines.

While waiting for the A200 to arrive i had a good look around online and this seemed to be one one of the better places to be

I too have just joined this forum, though have been actively involved in many others like this for a long time. I have the A200, and in my opinion it is one of the most understated cameras out there. I have three Sony's, though the A200 is my camera of choice for my Fogo Island landscapes, as you may have seen on the "Welcome" post directly under yours.
