Hello from Natal, Brazil

Unread post by mmusicante »

Hi,

I'm Martin, an amateur photographer that have been using Minolta gear for the last 20 years. (First a 3xi, then a 7xi and a 7D for the last 3 and a half years).
I'm now moving to my first Sony camera - I brought an A700, which I have not received yet.
I look forward to exchange ideas about photography. I also would like to meet other alpha-mount people in Brazil.

I like mostly to photograph people. Here are some of my recent shots:

All comments are welcome.

Best regards,

With just a short glance at your pictures (thumbnails in fact) I noticed some nice pictures. So will get back to them this evening.
So hello to you too. :D

You show a good variety of pix of your country. The A700 will improve your results, I think, as the light can be difficult from what I see. Carlos Aversa is based in Brazilia and a very competent Alpha system photographer. Marcello Sokal is in Santa Caterina, but he's dropped off my mailing list - he won a subscription to the magazine for the use of a picture a couple of years ago, he's also (of course) a very good photographer. I think Marcello had a web gallery, maybe if you do a search you can find these two Alpha users and their pictures.

Hi David,

Thanks for the links. I'll see if I can know more about them.

Cheers,

Martin
