I have just returned from a week away and find that DRPreview has not not ended my posting ban, instead they have entirely banned me as a user. That means I can only view forums, have no access to my threads, can't view poster details, search or do most things apart from see the posts. No worry. There are plenty of other website users who are either not participants in DRPreview, or are banned. They will almost certainly ban links to photoclubalpha as well.

Somehow that doesn't surprise me. It didn't take long before I realized DPR was a Canon.com site in disguise. Here in my country whoever is not hypnotized by them, always say: that Canon advertisements are very aggressive to say the least.
Anyway being banned from DPR is a good think. Put it this way: if you are banned from a political party because of your democratic opinions, then it's great (you know why).
