Hi
As my username suggests, my name is Matt and I've been shooting with DSLRs for just over a year.
I got an A100 with the 18-200 last June, and since then I've shot many a good pic with it, and purchased the Sony 50mm 1.4. I'm due a tax rebate soon, so I'll be investing in the Sony 100mm 2.8 Macro as a new toy.
I've got very into available light photography at gigs and partys etc since getting the 50mm, but I enjoy most forms of photography.

Re: Hello from Liverpool!
The A100 is probably the last choice for available light, but I managed fine with it until the 700 appeared. My old Minolta 50mm f1.4 seems to back focus too much, and I assume the Sony 50mm f1.4 is fixed in this respect. Welcome!

Yeah, the high-ISO on the A100 isn't the best, but I'm still learning the basics really, so it'll do me for now.
Had a play with an A700 the other day though, and I am lusting after one a little bit though...
Cheers
