First timer from Williamsport/Danville PA!
Hey I recently bought a used a55 after I decided I didn't need no stinking Nikon to take good pictures! Starting to get into it, I'm big into nature and the like.
Just bought a used a55, definately new to all of this!

Welcome Firsttimeuser,
You are right that you don't need to spend a lot of $/€/£ to enjoy photography and make good images. Just be careful you won't turn out like most of us: gearjunkies. G.A.S. (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) is an occupational hazard around these parts
Seriously, have a great time and do show us your pictures!
