Without checking, I think I set the ranks on a bytes basis - sort of hexadecimal. 128, 256, 512, and onwards and upwards doubling.

With checking, the members list reveals doubling of 30:

Initiate 30-59
Heirophant 60-119
Oligarch 120-239
GC 240-479
After that it appears to be dealer's choice.

Sorry for being off topic, but does anyone else keep getting distracted by the Evony add at the bottom of the page?

Well, the distracting Evony advert has gone, but now I am being asked if I want to chat with "single Armenians". There must be some clever algorithms at work if the advertisers have worked out that we have an Armenian contingent on the forum. I think I will continue to chat with the Doc and Armen on the forum instead.
