St. Louis Ballet - Camera, Stage Right

Unread post by smulnik »

Hi All,

I was on the stage right video camera again for this shoot. From the theater seating (audience) viewpoint, that would be the camera shooting from the left side of the stage. For our setup, the stage right camera is the hardest angle to shoot because it's the closest to the stage and it has the tightest framing (no room for error). I always seem to have a little anxiety before we start. But after some test shots of the dancers during the stage spacing, it goes away and I start to have fun. :D

Performance title: Love (and Ballet) in The Time of Corona

Enjoy! :D

Here are a couple of shots of us camera guys. (Our center stage camera was static and unmanned.) I took these with my Google Pixel 3a. It appears that I don't have the same luck with it as everyone else seems to have. :?

Me, on the stage right camera.
