My brother sent me to this site by Michael Wolf featuring photographs from Hong Kong and studies of the way people live in that part of the world. Some of the visions of adaptation are stunning, and the density of humanity is almost terrifying.

Seeing that I do know why I like Estonia - never saw something like this there (though some houses from soviet time also don't look to much comfortable...). Plenty of room, untouched nature - and very few people.

A bit -- but to get that look right, you need a nasty green cast, some extra contrast, and maybe a bit of posterizing for good measure. On the other hand, I'm sure in real life the smell is sufficiently dystopian to make up for any deficiencies in the look!
