Samsung has announced an APS-C EVIL digital camera:

From the article: “We estimate that the hybrid digital camera market will be over 20% of the global digital still camera market by 2012,” said Sang-jin Park, CEO of Samsung Digital Imaging Company."

Seems a bit high for a camera type that's new to the market. Until we see one or 2 of this type really capture the consumers imagination, I don't think it's a good prediction.

This is going to crowd that niche in the market a little, but I suppose competition can't hurt anything. From the outset, however, this has the appearance of a "too little too late" blunder for Samsung...the big splash having been already made by Micro Four Thirds.
