Slightly expensive that one David even if it's 43%...about $2000 Aud a bottle.....wonder how much a nip that is, hmm bottle size 70cl, what the blazes is a 'cl' ?

Hi Greg,

"cl" is "centiliter". 70cl is around 700grams or 0.7 liter.
The definition from the dictionary would say:
"one 100th of a liter, equivalent to 0.6102 cubic inch, or 0.338 U.S. fluid ounce. Abbreviation: cl"

Yep thanks Yildiz, I did a search and found 'cl' it's not one we use here (or I haven't noticed) even though we went 'french' some time back, volume here is usually in ml...mostly.

ml stands for milliliters, therefore this bottle would also be 700ml. That's the way it is with the metric system.

0,7liter=70cl=700ml

All three are used in beverage industry but mainly a preferance issue with the brand.

I'm confused with the concept. Is the scotch selling the picture or the picture selling the scotch?

I love a good single malt but notes a bottle just for a dodgy polaroid is pushing it somewhat..

I am, as we speak, enjoying a dram or so of a 11year old Dufftown single malt. Cheers!
