D300s with 12.3 MP CMOS, 51 focus point AF, 30 sec - 1/8000 to 8 FPS with the 1005 pixel Multi Cam. Live View with contrast detection anywhere in frame in tripod view. Video at 24 FPS to 1280 x 720 to 5 minute clip. 100% view finder at 0.94 percent. EN EL 3a battery carried over. Dual CF/ SDHC cards. ISO 200 to 3200. Weight 840 g. Available early September at AUD 3299 body only.
So as has been leaked the D300s is just a D300 with a video capable sensor. But with a reail price twice what Sony A-700 have been selling for over the last few months. Which should give Sony plenty of room to introduce a A5xx family and a A7xx model but they better get the prices of the A230/330 down pretty quickly.
