I used to like F1 a lot, but it's been a bit boring of late, and I have to admit I missed the Schumacher racing experience.
He gives 150%, drives the wheels off the car, and never gives up. He is one of only 2 drivers I greatly admired, the other being Senna.
Also his wet driving is superior, and makes other racing drivers look like a joke in the rain. Let's hope it turns out to be a fun few races, he is at his best when driving in a not as good car.

Didn't Senna drive a real F1 with a turbocharger?
The trouble with F1 is I reckon it's got so technical what with the fuel limit vs tyres that their allowed to run for so many laps and the engine displacement air dam limitation etc. it's no longer just the driver and car on the track against the other drivers and cars, there is so much influence from the pit area that has a huge bearing on the outcome of the race now. To win consistantly you need the best stategist in the pit looking at all the telemetery and issuing instructions to the driver, and a top pit crew to shave those fractions of seconds off each pit stop...

Next season is definately going to be interesting. Greg: I think Senna did race a turbo Honda? engine... I agree with the second part to some degree... Much still depends on the nut behind the wheel, but the drivers are becoming just another input into the computer....

Senna, another F1 legend.
I agree I was never happy about the automation features, I simply liked pure driving skill.
Schumacher drives on the edge, it's white knuckle stuff, no matter what car he is in..pushes beyond the limit.
I might even watch all the races now..I kinda knew he would be back, born to drive..
