Well there is always hope for a Christmas surprise ! And given that November, December and January are the most critical months of the sales year then you would expect an October announcement.

A lot of speculation about a Nikon D3s about the middle of the month which will probably kill any remaining D3 sales that the D700 didn't.

An A700 replacement would be nice but what would kill a major topic on DPR and leave many of them with nothing to do but go out and shoot some pictures. Just when the weather is taking a turn to winter for those of you up North.
