I'm already trying out the shiny brand new decade...hmmm my scotch and water tastes pretty much like it did before, so I guess it's ok.

Thanks Doc, I was just looking at my effort at the fireworks, I got there too late it was just about half over, I wanted to ride my velocipede down...but first I had to fix the tail light (re-locate), the carrier/basket was blocking the view of it from behind. The trouble with those fancy new 'led' tail lights is, they only fit onto round things, so I had to fix a piece of pipe onto the back of the carrier first...To cut a long story short I only got about 3 not very good shots, the camera (KM5D) stopped responding for what seemed like ages, and I couldn't figure out why, I do NOW though, I forgot in all the rush to turn off the AF (onto MF), if it's having trouble focusing it won't shoot....DUH!.....Doc, I'm going to have another Scotch and forget about the fireworks................

A very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year to everyone at PhotoclubAlpha! The small person is now in bed so it is time to open the bubbley . Over 4 hours to go here, and so we must pace ourselves before getting to the single malt etc.

I am already looking forward to another year of learning and enjoying the wonderful pictures on this great forum.
