Long ago, my rule-of-thumb assessment became that there were at least 50 lurkers for every individual who posted - and that was in a more-innocent era when most forums did not require registration to post.Dusty wrote:Count them? . I think it can be quite intimidating for some people posting on forums; I know that I never really contributed to any forums I joined until this one, which has a good combination of 'heavy-weight' expert content, as well as being very friendly and open to 'lighter' contributions.
