The 60D is heavier than the magnesium-body 7D, despite being the first to have a plastic skin and metal skeleton body in this series since the D60 of 2002.

7D: 820g / 28.9 oz. (body only)
60D: 675g / 23.8 oz (body only)

They have not corrected that - it actually was supposed to refer to the magnesium-bodied 50D, not the 7D. I can't remember now whether the correction got into print, or was made in a subsequent article, or a letter reply in the magazine.

The comparison of weights was between the same series, 50D to 60D, and for some reason I typed 7D because this had been discussed in the article.
