I imagine all of us have pretty full bookshelves of photo books - technique, photographers, etc. I wondered whether it might be useful to start a new Forum topic on favourite photo books. The Amazon lists I find are pretty basic and while The Online Photographer is great for new books he does not have lists as far as I am aware. Even if he does I feel this may well be a topic of interest to users of this site. David and Shirley, what do you think? And everyone else of course?
Perhaps I can start the ball rolling with this one, which I am finding most interesting.

New Forum Topic?
Re: New Forum Topic?
Hi Artington - a very good idea for a topic I think. I certainly find that I learn a lot from just looking at other people's photographs. I must admit that I do a lot of this online, in places like Flickr, but I would be very happy to hear about any other hard-copy publications and books that people think are interesting.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Re: New Forum Topic?
It is probably a great idea, but I for one don't seem to find the time to do just about any reading anymore, mores the pity, maybe when I catch up with other things I'll think differently.

I have created a rather broader ranging forum. You can post links to training courses, DVDs and books, shows, exhibitions - workshops, photo holidays, seminars, magazines - any resources like this. And discuss the value of these resources.
