Ahoy!
I've just created a Sony Owners Facebook page at:
Sony Owners Club.
It's still in it's infancy, though I neglected to include Minolta owners, so I will amend it accordingly.
Hope you'll be able to stop by and offer advice and help to anyone that needs it.
EDIT: I've added the PCA URL to my page, so others can find you. Seems to have worked OK.

Oh well . . . maybe we can join pages or something and cross promote? It was that when I typed in Sony, I got zilch so thought well why not create a page! The rest as they say, is history.

Well, like you, I am not allowed to use the name Sony in a Facebook page, or indeed in any branding including this website.
I don't imagine Sony will find your page but if and when they do, they will ask you to take it down, as they don't allow the use of the name.
That's also why Dyxum is called Dyxum, Alphamountworld is called what it is. Some sites like Sonyalpharumours do include the Sony word. But they are very protective of copyright and corporate image.

On Flickr there is: Sony camera club & a-Sony alpha DSLR cameras club. Are these allowed? Just curious. They've been going a long time with no problems (that I know of).

Sony probably has let them under the radar. They seem more tolerant in the Far East than in Europe. Also, anything which is not a business is less likely to upset them. Certainly in my case, as a known business, I could not use Sony in any publication name or website name without attracting their lawyers.
