Any thoughts?

I can't see it causing problems for models such as the 60d/D7000/K-5 which is where it sits price wise.
I'm sure micro 4/3 fans will like it but is it nostalgia taken too far?

Not taken far enough Barry - they should have made a real OM system DSLR, it would have sold in a big way!

I have had an E-M5 for 7.5 months now. It is a pretty nice camera with some advantages and some disadvantages for me compared to a DSLR/DSLT. My impression is that it isn't just people who feel nostalgic for old style SLRs who like it. I do wish Olympus would not be so tied to making it look like one though since then they would have more freedom to improve the ergonomics.

I have used the E-M5 quite a bit in Hawaii and on the U.S. mainland and finally I used it on one of my trips very recently. I was in Nepal for a month in November/December and I created a new thread about it here:
