Am I the only one who can't read the comments to articles on the website? It shows there are comments but if you click on them there is nothing. I commented on the Merge article but it isn't there even though it shows one comment. The latest article has two comments but clicking on them gets nothing.

I can't duplicate this. I think you need to be logged in, which means being registered but that can be for a free account does not have to be a subscriber. And I don't think that in 'home page view' where the articles all appear in order, the comments will appear. I think you need to click the headline of the article, to view it separately, then the comments and reply pane do appear. At least they do for me, when logged in.

Clicking on the "comments" it does open the article separately, and underneath it there is the place where you can write your own comments, but still doesn't show comments from other members...
