Hi all,

Thanks very much for the birthday wishes, I am touched that you still remember me after this time. I check the threads out in here quite regularly but don't post as I am no longer shooting using Minolta/Sony gear.
The people on this forum are still really friendly and there is always something to read. Also best wishes to Henry for his birthday too.

I will post a few of my more recent pics as a catch up (hope you dont mind that they are N*k*n :D )

I have shot a few weddings

We have a new puppy (5 month old Westie/Schitzu cross)

I still love the coast for landscapes

I have also been on a few training days

Hope you find something to like in the variety of images

Best wishes

Paul

Thank you!

We are up early this morning because we are flying to the Big Island (Hawaii) for a week and have an early flight. Yawn....

Lovely shots Paul and great to hear from your again. I think we've always been pretty relaxed about pictures from any make. Henry is shooting mainly Olympus now, and Barry has shot all sorts in the last year or so I can't imagine any complaints. I for one have missed the Northumbrian coastline :)

Yeah I agree with Birma Paul, now that Sony only makes SLT’s for the A-mount this place has become more egalitarian when it comes to other brands, even David is trying a couple of Nikon’s currently as well as Sony’s offerings. I was getting keen on Nikon myself until the problems Barry F had came to light with his repeated attempts at getting a good D7000 body, and then the problems of camera generated debris on the sensor with the D600, all without any admission or acknowledgment from Nikon that I could see (remarkably similar to Sony with control wheels)…maybe I missed it, but at the very least one would expect some kind of response if they held their customers interests as a prime consideration.
Greg
Ps all nice photos, (only thing I’m not too keen on is pink toned skin, I have very rarely ever seen skin that has no faint trace of yellow and black in the mix)

Sorry to be late guys, but I was disconnected for the weekend as I went up to my Dad's place to do some more repairs to get it on the market.

None the less - Happy (belated) Birthday!

Dusty
