Lens Mount Fit

Can anyone tell me if a Centon 500mm Cat lens fitted with a Minolta T mount as used on my 700si will be OK to use on my alpha 100. I have asked Sony 3 times but can't seem to get across my question somehow. Will it clear the mirror OK?

Whatever fits your Dynax 700si will also fit the Sony A100. Mirror clearance won't be a problem; the A100's mirror is smaller than the 700si's.

It will work, but you need to go into the camera menus and DISABLE shutter lock when 'no lens fitted' because the camera will think there is no lens on, when you fit this.
