Flickr vs SmugMug

Hello;
Just as I started using Flickr more actively (great because its free), my photo software (Aperture), which uploads to Flickr flawlessly, was upgraded to include uploading to SmugMug. Does anyone have experience using both and do you have recommendations using one vs the other? What are the benefits of one vs the other?
