I was getting an error of posting too soon after a posted message. Pls advise if I have missed out the guideline. Thanks...

You're not alone. And I think we should ask DK to remove that restriction. I do know the reason(s) for it, but am more prone to its removal.

This is going to make it hard to check this msg board from work. I just can't reply to a few posts one after another here anymore. Although it might work out for the good if it makes me sepll betttre

What's a real pain is, when you've spotted a spelling whopper.... it takes forever too edit and repost.

In case of editing it doesn't wait for the mentioned time lapse. 8)

Sorry, it was incorrectly set - it does not appear to affect me as admin, so I had not noticed it was set to 5 minutes. It has been set to 2 minutes now. It should not affect editing. Depending on the time of day, the US-based server is fairly slow, but we have unlimited storage space and unlimited traffic terms. Our UK server was much faster but had serious restrictions on how the site could develop.

Well, I can assure you all from first hand experience, at my end it just sits there like a stunned mullet, the sequence goes like this, "submit"...oops there's a blooper "edit" fix the mistake and "re-submit"....the result?..........stunned mullet.
Perhaps it's something to do with security settings, mine, phpbb, who knows. :?:
