Don't forget that lens pen
Thank, Doc!

It's a wet cleaning process, though, - saline solution wash. Last night my 9 month old tried to clean it out with a sheet of paperboard. I was playing with her when she grabbed it - some backing from the 5 year old's doll package - and sliced me right across the eye! I rushed into the bathroom and gave it a good flush, half expecting it to be gushing blood. Except for a bit of pain, no harm done.

In another 3 months I get to have a scar lasered out on the back of the lens. That's a cleaning process we never use for cameras!

Just a note that a LOT of the equipment used to test my vision and make measurements prior to surgery were CZ branded! Made me feel a bit safer to see their logo on the equipment.

Hope everything works out ok for you Dusty. We take a lot of things for granted, sight is one of those.

In the Manga Ghost in the Shell (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_in_the_shell) at the first episode of the first of two TV season (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_in_t ... ne_Complex) by the end, that you can not see in this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJrvtlUUge8 sorry, I'll attach a screen shot only) you can see that the Minister's eyes are Carl Zeiss made -this is supposed to happen by 2030, but probably they are already working on it...
