I sold my 24-105mm D as well. Just not a good lens for full frame digital. I have the 28-105mm RS now and it is much better.

Well: now is the time -Adorama Used Department is making $$$$ right now because people are selling and cheaper than before.Sonolta wrote:Yeah. No doubt. I purchased 20+ lenses and a half dozen cameras on Ebay 2-3 years ago...If I were not so poor I would have tried to corner the market JD Katz style...InTheSky wrote: There is some deal again on Ebay for Minolta equipment, but VERY NOT like 2 years ago. Since the Sony market of the A200 - 300 350 ... and A700, i have seen this change incredibly.

Re: Beercan on Alpha 900
Well i have made this page because they never wanted to removed the negative feedback they gave to me for the error. At this time i was selling stuff on Ebay and i was not happy to lost my 100% feedback i have got since the beginning of Ebay.
The funny thing about that, is that i received about 1 mail a month of buyer having almost same problem with adorawin on Ebay.
Hope they will understand and fix there problem.
In the lens that i have discover that is not so good on A900, are the 500mm Reflex Af, i don't know why ... but on A700 it was ok, but on the A900, i have never been able to get something really sharp with it, compare to my A700 (strange phenomena you will think, because the A700 is stressing the center of the lens ... ).
Another surprise was the 24mm 2.8, that is not that good too wide open. Sorry for all my WIDE OPEN testing, this is because I'm constantly searching for best lens for low light photography. (winner for now are the 2.0 Series of Minolta and the 1.4, and the beercan as well
).
I have three Beercan at this moment, I'm afraid to sell them
in case i will not be able to have one again. I have not tried ..., but probably someone do, have you tried to make 1:1 macro with ring adapter ? I'm thinking of putting ring adapter on my 200mm APO for try this next spring, but i'm just thinking that this can be good too with the beercan...

Frank
