Having a manual focus lens fever lately.
So I attached the Takumar 50mm f/1.4 (Asahi optical) to a Soviet made bellows (not having tilt-shift abilities) and fixed it with a M42-A-mount adapter to my A700.
Very very difficult to focus, so preparing a shot made me loose pounds (so anyone thinking of slimming, work with a bellows ).

So this is it:

Then I took a shot of the sofa's texture and here's how it came out:



and 100% crop



If only I could repeat the shot with my SAL50M28 on the bellows...

Doc, you need to wait the warm weather to return and bring you some nice insect subjects!

NB: I thought you had sent me a CD with photos. Opened it, and found a nice surprise. Unfortunately along with your email this led to an hour trying to make satisfactory noises with a duduk. Many thanks! You'll have the ordeal of listening to a CD from my folk club in return

And please, do send some photos at high res some time. I'm just about to issue my quarterly appeal for potential gallery pix for the magazine.
