Has anyone seen or does anyone know when this peice of glass will be released?

Probably March 2008. The 16-105mm is due to be released November 16th 2007. No announcement was made for the 70-300mm, so it looks like early 2008. PMA is in March and the most likely occasion to launch it.

Well, I guess it gives me time to save for it. I would also like a 16-35mm F2.8. Hopefully they will make one of those too...
