OK ... first I have took time to clean my sensor, everybody will be happy

At F/2.8, the lens is showing a lot of vignetting :

Correct with Light room (maximum setting):

At F/8.0

Those are pictures from this morning, I have been able to meet my friend in the afternoon, and we have took pictures from Canon and Sony, I will update my first posting with the picture information later.

But, for the price, and when you know how to handle the Tamron SP, this lens can be good. But at F/2.8 you can only trust the center :-).

Regards,

Frank

Nice images! I had been wondering if you had gone out to play as you hoped. I see this is another lens that doesn't quite match up in EXIF, a silly mm off - but if I had one it wouldn't have any competition below 18mm so I'd know
Also thanks for shooting the sun, clearly some flare but no more & even a bit less than expected (by me at least). I was able to play with one of these lenses recently, despite being 650g more or less its short length kept it from feeling as bad as it might; I felt the 500g Minolta 75-300 New to be a larger drag than this. I'd still prefer the 350g Sigma, but after trying this the gap has narrowed. It is a fine lens.
