Picked up a SAL 55200 55-200 for USD $109 not too bad for the price,
handy size. Sort of interim till I acquire 70-200 or the 70-300G

That first shot especially is excellent. If I didn't have the fast Minolta 70-210 I would definitely get one of these for portable telephoto. Thanks for sharing!

That is a good price Roger. I think the Tamron is every bit as good as the Sony,
maybe better?

Thanks for the kind words Jim, it certainly is light and portable. Be nice to
have a bit more weight like the fast Minolta 70-210 to help stabilize the hand.
