David Kilpatrick wrote an article comparing the Sigma 10-20mm and Tamron 11-18mm sometime back. I think it was about 2 years ago. I searched the photoclubalpha site and I can't find it. I am hoping that he or someone else can point me to the article. There is also this old dpreview post:

I am almost positive that he wrote an article too though and posted it on his website.

Sorry, I was away for a short break to Tenerife - where, unbelievably, I met a Dyxum forum regular sitting with his 7D shooting rats (intended to shoot birds, but only rats arrived) on top of a mountain pass in the north-eastern hinterlands! We talked for a bit, I gave him my card, and he said... I know you!

The link above doesn't go to the review anymore. I checked on this page and couldn't find it either:

DK, anyone: Do you know where it is located now?

f2.photo.co.uk has been sold to the people who bought the magazine - after a long period of changeover. I must remember to invoice them the agreed amount.

I have all the articles and a complete copy of the site, of course, but until time permits I can't restore any of that material to be 'live'. I am not prevented from doing so, all they bought was the domain names associates with the magazine, not the old content rights.

David, thanks for the update. Are those articles something that you will put on this site?

Don, yes I have the link for that thread. Thanks. I was just hoping to find the old magazine article too.

Of course, as of 1am embargo time, there is now news of the new Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 constant aperture. I was aware of that last week but could not mention it. Have not handled it, no idea how good it will be.
